The leaves are changing and fall is in the air! Our local Calvert County farms are eager and excited to welcome the public for some fall fun on the farm this season! To get directions to follow along on our Fall Fun Trail, visit our Google Map. Check back regularly for updated 2025 information.
Calvert County has a rich agricultural history, and our local farms offer visitors the chance to experience this long-held heritage. From pick-your-own produce and vineyards to corn mazes and farm animals, there’s something for all ages to enjoy. Many farms are open year-round or seasonally—learn more on our Visit Our Farms page.
Open from Sept. 20–Nov. 2, 2025, on Fridays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday can be booked in advance for field trips.
Special events include the Harvest Festival opening weekend Sept. 20–21, 2025, and Rage Against the Pumpkins on Nov. 1–2, 2025. Visit the website for information about other weekend events, including scarecrow making, pet adoption, superheroes and princesses, unicorns, and a truck and tractor show.
Featured activities include a pumpkin patch, maze, corn pit, farm animals, wagon rides, human hamster wheel, farm trail, playground, dirt diggers, rubber duck races, and sales of mums, pumpkins, and fall decorations.
Admission includes a small pumpkin while supplies last. Children under two years old are free. Tickets can be ordered online at the Horsmon Farm website .
Produce Stand business hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Corn Maze/Fall event hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
Third annual Fall Fest opening weekend is Sept. 20 and Sept. 21, 2025. Entry fee includes corn maze, trail rides, slide, ball pit, corn pit, bouncy farm animals, face painting and a jump pad. Food and ice cream trucks will be on-site every weekend.
Admission is $5 per person and children under two years old are free.
Starting Oct. 4; open every Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through October 2025. Flashlight Night Maze open on select Friday and Saturday nights.
Featured activities will include a corn maze, hayrides, a jump pad, pumpkin patch, Tractor Treat event on Oct. 25 from 5-8 p.m. and Sip & Search event (TBD) for adults. Check Facebook page for the latest Fall fun information and hours!
Opening Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2025! U-Pick pumpkins, mini corn maze and fall market coming in October! Open Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from noon to 6 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visit Swann Farms website for the most up-to-date information.
Open seven days a week from Sept. 5 through Nov. 2, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Special events include the Fall Festival opening weekend on Sept. 5-7, 2025. Other events include First Responders Day, featuring free admission for first responders with a badge and a "Touch a Truck" event with the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office and St. Leonard Volunteer Fire Department. Additional events include movie nights throughout the fall and several School Spirit Nights fundraisers supporting local schools.
Featured activities include pick-your-own pumpkins, corn maze, hay maze, jumping pillow, a petting zoo on select days, tire mountain with small slide, corn pit, two giant slides, pedal-kart track, barrel cart rides, farm trail to the Highlands, food trucks on weekends, pumpkin carving, fall decoration sales and a farm stand.
Admission is $12 per person, and children under 2 years old are free. Admission is $10 per person for families of four or more.
