Edward T. Hall Aquatic Center General Rental Policies
Reservations can be made at least seven days prior to the event and no more than 90 days in advance.
Applications are handled on a first-come, first-paid basis.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations will be charged a $5 service fee. Written notice of the cancellation must be received at least 14 days before the event to receive the full remainder of the rental fee. A notification received less than 14 days before the event shall result in the forfeiture of one-half the total rental fees. A full refund will be issued in the event of a facility failure. Please have reservation number available upon cancellation.
Reschedule / Transfer Policy
Only one rescheduling and/or transfer of a rental is permitted. Any request to do so made less than 14 days before the original date shall be charged an additional $5 transfer fee. A rental that cannot be rescheduled must be canceled according to the cancellation policy.
Party Room
The Party Room is located on the pool level and is available for birthday parties. Rentals include 1.5 hours usage of the room as well as facility admission for up to 20 people. Rentals are available at the rate of $180 for Calvert County residents and $222 for non-residents. Only a maximum of 20 people including adults and/or chaperons are permitted in the room at any given time.
The Conference Room is located on the main floor of the aquatic center and is available to rent for meetings and classes for $60 per hour for Calvert County Residents and $72 per hour for non residents. Admission into the swimming areas/pools is not included.
Advanced reservations are required for all groups. Regular rates apply.
For their safety, groups of 20 or more will not be permitted without a reservation. For all groups children 5 and younger require in pool supervision by a responsible person at least 18 years of age. For children 5 and under, there must be 1 chaperone, in the water, for every 5 children. For children 6 and over, there must be 1 chaperone, in the water, for every 7 children. Children 12 years of age and younger require supervision by a responsible person 18 years of age or older.
