  1. End Hunger Dragon Boat Festival!!

    June 12, 2021, 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM @ Rod 'N' Reel Resort

    Come be part of the 8th Annual End Hunger Dragon Boat Festival and spend the day at The Rod N Reel Resort in Chesapeake Beach. You will enjoy a family friendly atmosphere, local vendors, and more! Best of all, you will be part of our community coming together to support End Hunger In Calvert County. The Dragon Boat Race course is 200 meters long, stretching out in the marina which can be viewed from everywhere. Each race will last roughly one minute, and every team is guaranteed to race at least twice.

  2. North Beach Farmer's Market 2021 Season

    June 12, 2021, 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ North Beach Senior Center Parking Lot

    The 2021 North Beach Farmers’ Market season is tentatively set for May 1 through September 25, 2021. We are pleased to announce changes to the market that will give it a traditional, small town atmosphere. The new North Beach Farmers’ Market will be held on Saturday mornings from 8 to 11 am in the parking lot of the North Beach Senior Center. The market will include local vendors with items such as plants, farm vegetables, baked goods, meats, cheeses, eggs and other fresh goods. The Town of North Beach will follow the State of Maryland’s masking order and physical distancing order for outdoor public areas that exist at the start of, and during, the Farmers’ Market season.

  3. Kid's Day at the Farm - Group A

    Kids will be able to meet the animals and learn about their life and purpose on the farm! This is to insure all visitors will be able to sign a release form for the safety of our guests and animals. All proceeds will go directly to the animals! All kids must have a guardian.

  6. River Cruises on the Wm. B. Tennison

    Enjoy a one hour cruise on the river with a relaxing sightseeing cruise. On your cruise, you will cruise the busy Solomons inner harbor, see Solomons Island and the Chesapeake Biological Laboratory, pass underneath the Governor Thomas Johnson Bridge and turn back at Pt. Patience and the Naval Recreation Center. Departures are from the Calvert Marine Museum dock. All cruises are weather permitting. Tickets are available for purchase online and at the Admissions Desk. Maximum capacity is 20 persons. Accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities with reasonable notice. No strollers allowed. All passengers must wear a mask for this one hour cruise.

  7. Public Sails on the Dee of St. Mary's

    The museum offers 2-hour public sails aboard the historic vessel Dee of St. Mary’s. This is a great way to experience the Patuxent River aboard an iconic Chesapeake Bay Skipjack. Guests will have an opportunity to help raise and lower the sail.
