  1. CalvART Gallery Presents "For The Birds"

    CalvART is a cooperative gallery located in Prince Frederick, MD, and affiliated with the Arts Council of Calvert County. CalvART is a showcase for artists from Southern Maryland and highlights work from a wide range of styles and media. Our artists excel in paintings, pottery, jewerly, sculpture, woodturning and photography. "For The Birds" - Linocut prints of birds of all sorts, flying, foraging, flocking and floating. Also included are gourds made into fully functional birdhouses, painted and decorated to become whimsical habitats such as spaceships, creatures, and characters.

  2. Teen Birding

    April 17, 2021, 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM @ Flag Ponds Nature Park

    Join us for an early morning birding hike through the park. Members of the Southern Maryland Youth Birders Group will be in attendance so it's a great way to meet other birders your age. We will hike along the trails to try and get a view of an eagle's nest. We will be socially distancing and wearing masks.

  6. Murder Mystery Dinner – Death by Chocolate

    It’s April 15, 1900, Easter Sunday, and Paris is the center of the world’s attention as millions of visitors arrive for the opening of the International Exposition this weekend. Amongst them is an elite but diverse group of individuals staying at the Hotel Paradiso. As they gather for dinner, however, the peace of the hotel is rocked by an explosion. Billy Bonka, the foremost chocolate manufacturer in America, is found dead in his room, having apparently been killed by an explosive Easter Egg. Suspicion falls on the people around the table. One – or more – of you is the murderer. Your task is to discover who that killer is. Each guest will be assigned a character for the evening. You are encouraged to come in costume. Includes a three-course gourmet meal which you will enjoy as you work toward solving the mystery.
