  1. CalvART Gallery Presents "For The Birds"

    CalvART is a cooperative gallery located in Prince Frederick, MD, and affiliated with the Arts Council of Calvert County. CalvART is a showcase for artists from Southern Maryland and highlights work from a wide range of styles and media. Our artists excel in paintings, pottery, jewerly, sculpture, woodturning and photography. "For The Birds" - Linocut prints of birds of all sorts, flying, foraging, flocking and floating. Also included are gourds made into fully functional birdhouses, painted and decorated to become whimsical habitats such as spaceships, creatures, and characters.

  3. Tracks and Signs 101

    April 10, 2021, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Flag Ponds Nature Park

    Meet the naturalist to learn how to identify some of our local wildlife by their tracks and other signs they leave behind. We will then take a hike to practice our skills and see which critters have been out and about. The hike will be approximately 1 mile and is not stroller-friendly. Participants should wear sturdy shoes and bring water and insect spray.

  5. Animal Stories Campfire

    April 10, 2021, 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM @ Kings Landing Park

    For all ages. Adult supervision is required for children under 18. Come get cozy around the campfire and roast marshmallows while the naturalists share some traditional animal folk stories. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. Meet at Pavilion 1.
