    North Beach Boardwalk

    A costume parade just for dogs and dog lovers! This dog costume parade takes place on the boardwalk along the Chesapeake Bay. Owners walk their furry friends along the parade route where they are introduced and judged by the panel of judges. Prizes are awarded at the conclusion of the parade. ONLY DOGS CAN BE ENTERED IN THE DOG PARADE

  2. River Cruises on the Wm. B. Tennison

    Enjoy a one hour cruise on the river with a relaxing sightseeing cruise. On your cruise, you will cruise the busy Solomons inner harbor, see Solomons Island and the Chesapeake Biological Laboratory, pass underneath the Governor Thomas Johnson Bridge and turn back at Pt. Patience and the Naval Recreation Center. Departures are from the Calvert Marine Museum dock. All cruises are weather permitting. Tickets are available for purchase online and at the Admissions Desk. Maximum capacity is 20 persons. Accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities with reasonable notice. No strollers allowed. All passengers must wear a mask for this one hour cruise.

    The Town of North Beach presents the Annual Halloween Boo Bash! Register for the children's costume contest from 3:15 to 4:00 pm on the pavilion. The parade and judging will follow. After the costume parade and judging, feel free to trick-or-treat at local business.

    The Magic Tunnel of Terror is back! Join us on October 31st from 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM for some thrills and chills. The ghouls and goblins are waiting. Purchase a wash as low as $7 and roll through for a horrifying time. Candy will be given to each person and child who attends. Pay upon entry and enter if you dare. The wash will be to die for, filled with some frights and a bag full of delights! It's not a trick, it will be a real treat!

    Ever wondered what owls live in Maryland? Come to our owl banding station and learn about what owls could be living in your backyard as well as the migratory Saw-Whet Owls we are studying. You may even have a chance to see a wild Saw-Whet Owl!
