The CMM Education Team has created FIVE new and unique programs for students K-5 to engage in activities focusing on paleontology, estuarine biology, and maritime history. Each program is available to public, private, and homeschool groups.   3. Calvert Artist Guild Show and Sale

    Talented Southern Maryland artists will be showing their work inspired by the Chesapeake Bay and beyond, including mediums such as watercolor, acrylic, photography, mixed media, and jewelry. Come do some early Christmas shopping! The Calvert Artists’ Guild was founded in 1978 to promote the appreciation and practice of fine arts and crafts in Calvert County. The guild sponsors art shows, field trips and workshops for all artists and those interested in the arts.

  4. River Cruises on the Wm. B. Tennison

    Enjoy a one hour cruise on the river with a relaxing sightseeing cruise. On your cruise, you will cruise the busy Solomons inner harbor, see Solomons Island and the Chesapeake Biological Laboratory, pass underneath the Governor Thomas Johnson Bridge and turn back at Pt. Patience and the Naval Recreation Center. Departures are from the Calvert Marine Museum dock. All cruises are weather permitting. Tickets are available for purchase online and at the Admissions Desk. Maximum capacity is 20 persons. Accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities with reasonable notice. No strollers allowed. All passengers must wear a mask for this one hour cruise.

  5. Dee of St. Mary's Public Sail

    Join us on a 2-hour public sail aboard the historic vessel Dee of St. Mary’s, and experience the Patuxent River aboard an iconic Chesapeake Bay Skipjack. Guests will have an opportunity to help raise and lower the sail. Capacity allows for 30 guests. If there is inclement weather you will be notified by the crew prior to the cruise.

  6. Music on the Porch at Linden House - The River South Band

    Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, coolers and enjoy an outdoor fall afternoon of Bluegrass/Country music on the lawn at Linden. Overflow parking at Trinity Church. In case of inclement weather, concert will be canceled with no rain date.
