The Southern Maryland Agricultural Development Commission (SMADC), a division of the Tri-County Council for Southern Maryland, is now accepting listings for the 2023 edition of the Southern Maryland 'Holiday Farm Guide’.

SMADC's online Southern Maryland Holiday Farm Guide connects consumers with Southern Maryland farms and producers including aquaculture and seafood, wineries, breweries, distilleries, regional stores and restaurants, and other businesses offering Southern Maryland harvested and produced products during the holiday season and through the winter months.

Holiday Farm Guide listing categories showcase Southern Maryland grown Christmas trees and holiday décor (wreaths, garlands, floral arrangements, etc.), farm-raised meats, poultry and eggs, cheese, winter produce and mushrooms, locally harvested seafood, plus baked goods, honey, pickles, jams and jellies, soaps and body products, yarns and fiber, locally produced wine, beer and spirits and more. Listings also highlight farm-hosted holiday events, tours and tastings, regional 'winter and holiday' farmers markets, and restaurants and stores offering Southern Maryland farm foods and value-added products.

Holiday Farm Guide listings are free. Applications are due by October 2, 2023.
