Sandy Staples
Sandra Staples serves as an Executive Administrative Assistant with Calvert County Government, a role she assumed in March 2022. She began her career with the organization in January 2019 as a Tourism Program Assistant within the Department of Economic Development. Ms. Staples is an active member of the Maryland Economic Development Association (MEDA) and has enhanced her expertise through administrative coursework at the College of Southern Maryland.
Before joining Calvert County Government, Ms. Staples held the position of Advanced Information Management Specialist with St. Mary’s County Government from 2015 to 2019. She also spent over two decades as Operations Manager at Recorded Books, from 1990 to 2012.
A proud native of Calvert County, Ms. Staples is passionate about family and animal rescue initiatives.
