Hilary Dailey
Hilary Dailey, Tourism Program Specialist, holds a BA in Psychology from Lycoming College and an MTA (Masters in Tourism Administration) with a concentration in Destination Management from The George Washington University. She is a Certified Tourism Ambassador for Maryland and was appointed to her current position in September 2018. Ms. Dailey sits on the Southern Maryland National Heritage Area Steering Committee, Jefferson Patterson Park & Museum Advisory Board and Destinations International Small Destinations Task Force, and is a member of the Maryland Tourism Coalition and Maryland Destination Marketing Organization Association.
Prior to joining the department, Ms. Dailey served as vice president in charge of marketing for Scorpion Brewing Co., a local Calvert County microbrewery, education director for the Bayside History Museum and president of the Friends of the Chesapeake Beach Railway Museum. Before moving to Calvert County, Ms. Dailey worked at the Smithsonian Institution in the membership travel and tourism department.
